Love Story with Davina

Hello crafty friends!! Davina here with a Love Story inspired card. One of my favorite things is mixing together images from multiple sets and creating scenes. The card I’m sharing today has images from the new Bookworm Anya and smaller images from an older retired set called #CoupleGoals. If you love the images from #CoupleGoals, you can make a request to have Marie bring it back for a future Farmers Market through the Contact Page.

My intention was to make it look like Anya was looking in a photo album in front of a message board. So I found a die set in my stash that had Polaroid frames, washi tape, and a binding clip. After stamping, coloring and cutting out my images, I die cut coordination patterned papers and arranged them on an extra large card base. The pink and white dotted paper is a standard 4.25 x 5.5 A2 layer. I trimmed some thin cork a quarter inch larger and matted them all on a white card base 4.75 x 6. It’s amazing what that extra half inch can do.

I added a smaller vellum layer over the polka dot print then arranged my Polaroids on either side. I adhered Anya in the center with some foam tape, then added strips of striped faux washi tape and a glittery silver binder clip. I love how it all looks like a large message/cork board. I finished it of with a hot pink embossed faux button.

Thanks for stopping by,

Davina
