Christmas in July

It's been so hot in my neck of the woods that I've been dreaming of some cooler weather! It's also halfway to Christmas so it's time for Christmas in July! I opened up the Holiday Reboot Big Kit, the newly imagined images from the past and put them to work!

I created a simple background with a steel rule tree die and a curve for the mountain, both in red and maroon patterned papers. I added a sentiment from the Big Kit to the bottom of the card.

I colored up Anya and Ian in nontraditional colors of pink, red, and cream with Copic Markers. I die cut some glasses in shades of red for both the images for some visual interest and did some surgery with a craft knife to hide her glasses under the ribbon. I also added some chalk to her cheeks and some highlights with white gel.
