Christmas Is Here with our Guest Designer Von Marie!

Greetings Everyone! I'm Von Marie and I'm super excited to be here with you on TGF Blog Guest Designing in July. I love TGF so my picks were a little difficult to choose from as I love every single stamp set. For my first card, I went with one of my absolute favorite red rubber stamp images Love Peppermint Bean. I just love her. She is retired, but of course you can request her as I may have gotten her at a Farmers Market before. I thought she was perfect for my Christmas in July card.

I started out stamping Love Peppermint Bean onto alcohol friendly paper with black ink. I colored her in with my copic markers and fussy cut her out leaving a white border.

I found some Christmas Pattern paper from my stash and cut it to my liking. I love kraft paper for my Holiday cards.

I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment with white embossing powder onto kraft paper from a retired Secret Santa Red Rubber kit that can be requested at a future Farmers market. I sometimes trim around my sentiments so I did just that for fun. I glued my pattern paper to my A2 card base and popped up Love Peppermint Bean and my sentiment with foam dots. Lastly, I added a few white gel pen accents, glitter, and clay peppermint embellishments. I had so much fun making this card.
