Gingerbread Christmas with Guest Designer Jo Thompson!

Hi everyone! Jo here for you today as your November Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm. I am super ecstatic to be back and crafting. Today's card showcases the clear stamp set Gingerbread Christmas. Let's get started on our holiday cards together.

I stamped several images from the stamp set with embossing ink onto kraft cardstock in a random pattern. After sprinkling some white embossing powder over the images, I used my heat gun to set the powder. I then took a stitched rectangle die and inlaid it with a rounded rectangle die to create the shaker window frame. I closed off the frame with a piece of acetate sheet and adhered the frame on the card after I added the sprinkles & sequins.

I embossed the sentiment "Merry Christmas" on a small banner die cut on kraft cardstock. From my craft supplies, I used this wide red & white striped ribbon and adhered the sentiment with hot glue. For added detail, I white embossed the gingerbread house and a mini gingerbread man and fussy cut them out. The heart image is colored in with a red marker. Lastly, I took a few candy sprinkles from the shaker portion and adhered them on the top left, as well as the beginning and end of the sentiment.

There you have it, my first holiday card using this adorable stamp set. Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait to share my other creations with you all. See you soon!
