Hello, it’s Andrea from Blissfully Scrappy here, and I’m thrilled and honored to be guest designing for The Greeting Farm this month! I just love their adorable stamps and had a really hard time deciding which stamps to use for my first post. In the end I chose these cutie patooties from Wood Friends (I mean those sweet, little faces – sigh.).

After stamping my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I colored them with Copics and cut them out. My background was created by inking up two pieces of Bristol Smooth paper with distress ink: one with Broken China and the other with Peeled Paint. I die-cut the green piece with a grassy border die, adhered it to the sky, and die-cut both with a stitched rectangle die.

That fabulous sentiment is from the Hello & Smile set. I had decided to use this sentiment as soon as I saw the cute faces on these critters, so the entire time I was making this card (and even while writing this post), I was singing the country song “You make me smile.” The problem is, I only know that phrase and kept singing it over and over and over… You get the idea. I have got to download that song now! Anyway, after heat-embossing my sentiment, I adhered my background to some patterned paper from Simple Stories’ Pumpkin Spice and popped up my critters with foam tape. Some string tied at the top and a little Glossy Accents on the noses finish the card.

Copics Squirrel: WOO, W1, W3, W5, W7, R20 Deer: E50, E51, E53, E31, E33, E35, E37, E39. R20, R21, R22

Have a great day!

Andrea
