Happy Birthday with a Little Party from Guest Designer Christine
Hi there... It's Christine here again today - and it's my last card as Guest Designer for March (it's gone by so quickly!) - but hopefully you'll like what I created as much as I enjoyed the creating.
For this card, I did a bit of watercolouring to create the background. I used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Mermaid Lagoon - and where the colours overlap, you get an orange and a purple too - yay! After this was dry, I did a quick bit of splattering with water and white paint to give texture. I used a rectangular stitched die to create my card panel, which I then matted onto a matching pink card base.
Next, I coloured the girlie images with my Copics, before fussy cutting them. I adhered them to the water-coloured background with 3D foam pads. I added some glitter and gems, then used one of the sentiments from the set to finish.
Card Info:

Hope you like my make today - it's been lovely to be part of The Greeting Farm throughout the month.. I do so enjoy using these fabulous images.
Happy Crafting...
Christine

The background makes this extra, extra cute. I don’t know how the designers come up with such great ideas…I guess that’s why they are designers….I like how she used the same colors for the dresses, but mixed them up. So cute!
