Hocus Pocus with Guest Designer Stacey!

Hi everyone! My name is Stacey and I am so excited, and a little nervous lol, to be a guest designer for The Greeting Farm for the month of September! Yay!!

I love all things Halloween so when I was thinking of what project I wanted to make first, my mind went to all the super cute witch images that The Greeting Farm has to offer and I finally decided to get the super cute witch from the Miss Anya All Year Big Kit inky and colored up!

I stamped her and the kitty onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink & colored her with my Copic Markers, taking some inspiration from the brightly colored patterned paper that I planned on using.

Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, E-4, R20
Hair: C4, C6, C8
Hat/Cape: RV06, RV09, RV17, YG03, YG05, YG07
Boots: C3, C5, C7, 100
Pumpkin: YR12, YR04, YR07, E33, YR14, Y04, Y08
Kitty: R20, C1, C3, C5

After my images were colored, I cut them out using my Scan N Cut and set them aside while I worked on my card. I created an A2 top folding card using some pink cardstock and doodled around the perimeter. I layered a piece of black cardstock on top, at an angle for some interest, and trimmed off the overhang. I stamped my sentiment and spider from the Hocus Pocus Kit* onto a piece of patterned paper and drew a line with a black pen to connect them. I also added some more doodling along with a piece of striped patterned paper to the bottom of my card.

*While the Hocus Pocus Kit isn’t available at the moment, it can be requested for a future Farmers Market using the Contact Page on the store site.

I popped up my images with some foam tape for a little dimension and added some black twine and  black gems to complete my card. I love the bright colors and of course, that super cute witch and her friends!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
