I Heart U Anya
Hi, all!
Stephanie with you today for The Greeting Farm, so excited to share a new project with you!
Remember when I posted that tip about blobs of ink hidden in a background? Well today's card featuring I Heart U Anya could be part of the same "tip" series.
When I first started colouring this cutie with my Copic markers, I had a very sweet no-line look in mind. Everything in the project had to be soft. And then "ZE" thing happened; my dark red marker blobbed right in her blond hairdo. Since I was already done with the whole image, I didn't want to give up on her, so I decided to simply use a tiny fabric from my stash (only had black!) and cover the big bad blob. Since there was now a big spot of black in my sweet and soft concept, I adapted to the situation and stamped my sentiment in black, then created the A2 cardbase in black cardstock.
There, you have it, friends, the story behind the big bad black bow ;-)

Anybody else has tips to cover mistakes? We'd love to hear about it!
