Stephanie with you today on The Greeting Farm's blog and I am delighted to share a new and simple card with our latest released set called Mini-Remix Balloons. 

As soon as I received this set, I knew I wanted to do a clean and simple scene with it that would scream LOVE! So I first started by stamping both the little girl and her boyfriend onto my favourite colouring cardstock, eyeing it so they'd be at the same level. Don't go and measure it, people, it's cardmaking, meant to be fun, so I let go :-P I also stamped the LOVE balloon image once, right between the two cuties, and then stamped it onto some masking paper so that I could create a mask by applying it on top of my cardstock and stamped it two more times.

With a black fine tip pen, I sketched the ribbons to tie the balloons altogether and tadam! I was ready to colour it with my Copic markers. For a bit more sparkle, I decided to sketch a few stars and add shadows under the images to ground them. They could be floating (what a fun idea!) but not this time people, not this time. I then stamped the sentiment from the same Mini-Remix Balloons set, die-cut the whole thing with a scalloped die to create one panel, popped it onto a regular 4¼"x5½" kraft cardbase with foam tabs and voilà!
