I'm a Barbie Girl, In a Barbie World with Guest Designer Andrea Shell!
Hello, again! It's Andrea from Blissfully Scrappy back with my second project as a guest for The Greeting Farm. Can you guess which movie inspired this card? If you guessed Barbie, you're right! That cute girl from Miss Anya Hello Winter just screamed Stereotypical Barbie to me.
For my color inspiration I relied on that fun patterned paper from Whimsy Stamps' Bokeh Bliss paper. I colored Miss Anya to match and fussy-cut her. I diecut a frame from light blue cardstock and adhered it to the patterned paper with foam tape.
To create my sentiment, I used Whimsy Stamps' OMG! Word and Shadow Dies. I diecut the shadow from white cardstock and the word from pink glitter paper. I affixed the pink letters to the shadow with foam squares and attached the layered diecut to my card with foam tape. I stamped a supporting sentiment from Whimsy's Simple Sentiment Strips and popped it up. Finally, I adhered my colored image and finished with a few, clear confetti.
Thanks for stopping by!
Andrea
