Just Because

Hey Farmers! Today I am sharing a "just because" project. Some stamp sets are perfect for making into artist trading cards, mini cards, teeny gift tags, or just teeny cards that you gift "just because" as a little surprise.


My design today uses super-cutie animals from the Caffeine Critters stamp set. This is my second project using them as small cards. Today, my cards are only 2" tall each (!) And really, the purpose behind them is...I just wanted to color up these critters. 


I gave them each a knit sweater, and used the same limited color palette for all 3 cards.


I'd like to say I can tell you which is my favorite, but they all look like fun-colored Easter eggs in a way, so I have no idea.

So what do you DO with teeny cards once you've got them? Just pop 'em in with a larger gift. Say...a bag of gourmet coffee beans. Or a new coffee mug. Or some designer marshmallows for coffee (hint: coffee). You can write a message on the back without having to fill up a large space, and the animal is so CUTE it will bring a big smile to whoever is lucky enough to receive your teeny card.
