Let's Celebrate You & Me with Guest Designer Andrea Shell
Hello! It's Andrea back with my second project as a guest for The Greeting Farm.
When I saw the So This Is Love stamp, I knew I wanted to make an anniversary card for my husband. In order to feature several of those adorable images, I chose to create a flip card using Lawn Fawn's Flippin' Awesome Dies.
I colored each of those sweet images with Copics and fussy-cut them. I created the flip mechanism with white cardstock and Queen & Co.'s Happy Hearts Paper pad. I adhered my colored images to the flaps and added a few diecut hearts.
I diecut a scalloped rectangle from one of the papers and adhered it to a white card. For my focal sentiment, I used the Celebrate & Enjoy stamp and die sets (The dies have been retired). I adhered "celebrate" onto a banner, which I attached to my card with foam squares. I stamped the rest of my sentiment, trimmed them into strips, and popped them up onto my card.
I stamped a supporting sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps' Happy Everything set (retired) onto the last panel of the mechanism. Initially, I had glued a few diecut hearts onto the panel, but they impeded the operation of the mechanism. After removing the diecuts, I stamped a few hearts instead.
I had so much fun creating this card! I hope my husband loves it as much as I do!
Here's a look at the four panels together. Aren't those images precious?!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have an amazing week!
Andrea
