Love you a Latte with Davina
Hello crafty friends! Davina here with a full box card of fun. Making box cards with lots of pretty patterned papers are one of my favorite types of projects. I like to add a ton of images to my cards and scenes, and box cards allow so many images. I was shopping my collection of incredible The Greeting Farm sets and wanted to use a “so far” unused set from my stash.
I decided on my big Coffee Beans Kit and got to work. This large set was once a Farmers Market pre order set, and it has sat for way too long on my shelf unopened. I started by stamping out 4 of the 11 characters, the coffee bar, and a few mugs. Before coloring my images, I decided on the papers I would be using, so I could color to match.
I built my box card and inserts using a slimline die set, and pretty papers from Doodlebug Designs. I colored all of my images using COPIC and Ohuhu markers, then cut out with my Scan n Cut. I swear now that my machine is super old, it cuts better than ever, with way less clean up needed.
I adhered my images to my box design using a micro tip hot glue gun. I always get the best results using my glue gun on these types of cards. I finished it with a cute embossed sentiment of the front and a colorful stamped sentiment, from the stamp set, on the back. I lieu of sequins, I added several die cut and inked coffee beans to the front for a little extra pizzazz.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this box card design, Davina
