May Your Day Be Filled With Sweet Surprise from Guest Designer Heather Conklin

Hello, Greeting Farm fans! Heather here again with my final Guest Designer post. For today’s project, I wanted to create a celebration card, specifically a birthday card. My own birthday is this week, and I thought it would be fun to create something that would be just as fun to receive.

I started by stamping the cute cake image from the Small Surprises Clear Stamp Set onto a tag cut from the Elle’s Studio Perforated Tags metal die. I colored the image with alcohol markers, layering colors to add a bit of depth, and finished with a touch of white gel pen on the bunny cheeks.

Once the tag was complete, I added the sentiment from the same stamp set, threaded a coordinating ribbon through the hole, and secured it with my tiny attacher. I then pulled a few papers from my stash and used a set of scalloped rectangle dies to create the card base.

To finish this cute project, I stamped and colored a few more of the bunny images from the Small Surprises clear stamp set and added them to the card using some foam tape for extra dimension.
