Skating by to Say Hi

Hello fellow Farmers!

Amy here, and today I'm sharing a card using one of the pretty gals from the Cheeky Reboot kit as well as bits and pieces from a bunch of digital sets. The Cheeky Reboot kit mostly consists of updated versions of older Cheekies but this sassy skater was the lone brand new image in the kit. This means she technically doesn't have an official name but I like to call her Cheeky Skates.  

As always, I've gone to the wonderful digital background builder sets available at TGF to find everything I needed to create a beachy scene for Cheeky Skates to live in. The kites being flown off in the distance and her little corgi are all part of the Picnic set, the tree leaves, bush and long eared pup are all part of the Poolside set, the bench is from the Park Lunch set and the bottle of pop she is enjoying, is from the Bakery Cafe set.

I imagined that Cheeky Skates has spent the day beach side with her two little pups, skating and showing off all their trick moves. Now that the sun is setting she is finally taking a break to sit back and relax with some sweet refreshment. Something about her skates and knee high socks felt very retro 70s to me which definitely influenced the rich colors that I used in the sky and then matched in her clothing. Just a few more minutes now and it will be time to skate back home. :)
