Sun Sea Sand with Guest Designer Von Marie

Greetings Everyone! Von Marie here and I have my very last Guest Design Post for you today, and I gotta say this month was the absolute best. I enjoyed guest designing and I had so much fun. I chose a Summer card today, using the Beach Vibes Stamp set (you can request it at the next Farmers Market) and it's so great. I love all the images, and it is perfect to create a Summer scene.

I first stamped my images Anya, Ian, and umbrella on a white piece of cardstock with black ink. I then colored in my images with my alcohol markers and stamped the ice chest, hat, and phone with black ink. I also colored them in and fussy cut them out. I did use a black marker to clean up my edges before gluing them to my scene.

I masked my images to create a sunset sky using a couple of orange dye inks. I then used a waves stencil that I inked it up with another couple of blue inks. I stamped the birds from the Beach Vibes stamp set with black ink and then ink blended some sand around my images using a brown ink and a brown alcohol marker.  

I stamped this wonderful sentiment from Beach Vibes stamp set with black ink and glued my 4 x 5.25 panel to a A2 card base. I embellished with some sequins and white gel accents. I love how this scene came together. Let's go to the Beach!
