Sweetest Friend with Davina

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a fun shaker card using one of the beautiful Anya images from the recent Anya Combo #3 Big Kit stamp set. The Big Kits are always a must have becuase of the variety of images and the nice large size. You only need one or two charachters to fill your cardface and they are sized perfectly for adding as much detail as your heart desires. 

I chose the cutie with the lollipop, and surrounded her with lots of die cut candy pieces. I even made a candy jar shaker that I filled with micro beads, and I love the way it sounds when you shake it . 

I’ve been so addicted to lots of lovely paper layers the past few months, and built my scene onto a piece of vellum so that the background would not be as distracting. After stamping and coloring my Anya, I added several sparkles onto her accessories and white highlights to the die cut candies that popped up with foam tape and hot glue.

I love the romantic playful feel of this card and hope that you feel inspired to pull out some of your older stashes of patterned papers and mix them up with newer stamps and die cuts. Thank you for stopping by, Davina
