Tip Me Tuesday: Layered Flowers
Hello everyone, and happy Tuesday! It's Joni here with another Tip Me Tuesday feature where I try fun techniques with TGF images. First off, I am in awe that it's already at the tail end of April. I saw a post that said we are one third through 2025, and I had to pause and reflect on what I did over the past four months. It seemed fitting then, to use this hydrangea image for today's card, as a reminder to stop and smell the flowers:
For today's TMT, I layered parts of the hydrangea florets to create a 3D effect. First I stamped the image several times, colored them up in the same Copics, then chose which ones looked best to layer up on the original image.
Next, I used a die cut on the main image then layered the pieces with dimensional tape. You can see more of its depth from the side view:
TGF has so many great flowers that you can create this layered look with, I just happen to be a big fan of hydrangeas. In fact, I purchased three petite ones, and rescued this larger plant that was in dire need of tlc. Now that we own our home, I can't wait to nurse it back to health and then plant it in the garden!
(Wish me luck! haha!)
Have an amazing day, friends. Thank you so much for coming by.
