Tip Me Tuesday: Peanuts Reimagined

Happy Tip Me Tuesday, everyone! If you are new to the blog, TMT is a bi-monthly feature (every other month, that is) of suggested tips that you can use with any of your favorite TGF images. These tips can be anything from incredible color combos, tutorials, "wow" designs from fellow crafters, out of the box ideas, and so much more!

For today's TMT, I wanted to do a fun trend I've seen in the art world where they 'reimagine' favorite characters in different art styles. I thought of this trio - Linus, Chuck, and Franklin - immediately when I saw the Anya & Ian Big Kit:

For Linus, I colored in his red striped shirt and then his jacket as if it was his beloved blue blanket. Charlie Brown's hoodie was the perfect design for his iconic chevron pattern, and Franklin's orange/blue outfit was so much fun to do. I really wanted to include a fun Snoopy! Due to space constraints, I used b/w patterned paper, then added a red "roof" from his doghouse instead.

I think it's adorable that Peanuts characters are still so popular after all these years! When I was just a toddler, we had a dog named Charlie Brown. I now have a white and black dog (Riley), and a yellow bird (Yoshi) that we've nicknamed Snoopy and Woodstock. :)
I would love to know if you've ever reimagined a TGF image for a fun project! Be sure to join us on our Facebook Fan Page to share your ideas and cards. We'd love to have you there.
Have a wonderful day and happy crafting to you!

Super cute, imaginative card! I think Breakfast at Cheeky’s makes a great Taylor Swift from her 22 era. I’ve colored her up like that but haven’t put her on card yet.
