Wicked Anya with Davina
Hello crafty friends! Davina here to share a “not so spooky” Halloween card using the new Wicked Anya stamp set. I really love how cute she is with her little witchy kitty and pumpkin pail. I recently purchased some new pretty pink spooky pattern papers and I knew they would be perfect to pair with her.
This was one of the fastest cards I’ve ever put together because the background papers are so wonderful it didn’t require a lot of fussing. I stamped my Anya and kitty onto my white Neenah paper and put aside to dry while I made the background. This cute pink skull filled pattern was so good and even had the wonderful stripes on the background. Striped backgrounds are my absolute favorite. I cut each layer out using stitched layers from my stash and adhered the smaller one popped up on foam tape. Next, I layered a spiderweb die cut onto the top corner and trimming any overhang off.
I colored my images using a combination of Copic and Ohuhu markers then cut out with my scan n cut. I adhered the images to my card panel and since this Anya is so large with her hat, I didn’t need much else beside a sentiment. There was a chipboard sentiment from the paper collection that was perfect for this cutie and i centered it at the top. And other then adding a few white cheek dots, this pretty girl didn’t need any other adornment.
