DIY Gift Topper
Hello, crafty friends! Cynthia here sharing a spring project using digital Easter Anya and the sentiment from Peeps Couple. I am rediscovering old supplies and using up paper scraps lately and wanted to share with crafty friends.
I created some homemade buttons using my punches, cereal boxes, and scraps of pretty paper. I have been paper punching hearts and circles and gluing them together to create dimension. I punched button holes with my Crop-a-Dile and voila! Buttons! Very fun and relaxing to punch out shapes while watching TV.
I made so many that I wanted to share with crafty friends! I created a little gift topper and bagged up these buttons. I colored Easter Anya and placed her with a paper punched doily and some of the buttons. I added some twine for the buttons, a sentiment, and some paper flowers from my stash. I affixed the buttons on some acetate backed by pretty paper and glue dots so that the recipient could peel off the buttons easily. Love this spring project and gift!
Supplies:
- Circle and primitive hearts punches- EK Success
- paper scraps
- Copic Markers: skin E000, E00, E11, E13; hair E47, E15, E35; hat YG91, YG93, YG95; dress B00, B01, B02; peeps R81, R83, R85

Wow! Before I read this I thought these were embellishments. Amazing job on making these look just like the real ones.
