Merry with Davina
Hello crafty friends! It’s me again, today I’m sharing another fun and cheery christmas card. I absolutely love the Minkie line of stamps and the Minkie Christmas set is one of my favorites. I used a grid cover plate die from my stash so that I could use as many of these cuties as possible on one scene.
I die cut the cover plate 3 times and glued them together for a little dimension, then mounted the frame onto some plaid paper and green mat layer. I’d been hanging onto this remnant of patterned paper for so long that i knew i would use the minimal color scheme for my theme just to highlight the palette.
I stamped and colored my images using copic markers and Ohuhu markers combined. Then added some whiter details before cutting out with my scan n cut. I added a sentiment that had been cut from glittery cardstock, then arranged my characters into the spaces, popped up with foam tape.
I loved the little accessory images that I added too, and think this turned out just perfect! The little girl with the tree head is my favorite and I had to arrange the pile of gifts next to her. This card came together ridiculously quick and would be perfect to mass produce if you need a last burst of inspiration.
Thank you so much for dropping, and Happy Christmas!
