Grow Your Own Way
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and I am still working my way through the big Anya Combo kit. With the completion of this card I've only got two more to go. Speaking of today's card, this particular Anya has a braided hair-do that I just think is so cute. I'm actually tempted to do a hair cut and head swap with her in the future to really show off that braid. For now though, Anya is here in all her glory, showing off her collection of cacti and succulents thanks to the Potted Plants clear set.
You are so creative!
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and I hope you are still enjoying the big Anya Combo kit because I sure am. My goal is to get all eight of the cuties onto their own cards before the new Anya mystery kit arrives some time next month. I've only got three Anyas left to go, it might be close but I think I can do it. As for today's card, this pig-tailed Anya with her cozy sweater looked to me like she would be enjoying a cold spring day indoors.
My favorite love story is ours
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and I've got one last Valentine's Day card to share with you today. I'm still working my way through inking up all the Anyas in the big Anya Combo kit and it struck me that this sweet, reading Anya would be perfect for a Valentine once I paired her with this particular sentiment.
Love Ya
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and I've been in full Valentine's Day card making mode lately so when it came time to create for this post I went back to the big Anya Combo kit to see if any of those beauties would work within that love theme. Not only did I find this saucy winking Anya with heart buttons on her sweater, but the sentiment and floating heart stamps are also part of the kit. Unfortunately, this big kit is now sold out in the TGF store but Marie is always open to suggestions for future Farmer's Markets, if you missed out this first go-round.
Get Well Soon
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, with my first TGF blog post of 2023. When thinking about what kind of card to create for today my inspiration actually came from how many of my friends and family have been hit by the cold or flu viruses that were making their rounds through the holiday gatherings. Let's just say that my 'get well soon' stash of cards have been depleted. I'm also still working my way through the fabulous Anya Combo kit and this Anya looked to me like she could be wearing comfy jammies, making her perfect for this theme.
Here comes Amazon, here comes Amazon...
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, with my last blog post of the year since the team takes December off. Once again I went to the awesome selection of digital stamps that can be found in the TGF store to create this all too familiar holiday scene. First I grabbed the cute Delivery Ian with his stack of packages and then I paired him with the Christmas Porch digi set. I went all out decorating the door and patio because I knew Mr Brown himself would be rockin' his traditional uniform, though I did borrow the snowman from the Christmas Day digi set and sized it real small to look like a decorative pin on his hat.
Have a holly jolly Christmas
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and with Halloween come and gone it is time for me to concentrate on Christmas cards. I decided to go with various digital stamps in the TGF store to create this Christmas shopping scene. I grabbed Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice first because I thought it would be fun to swap her latte for a present. It was super easy to do, in Microsoft Word I simply inserted this gift digi from the Birthday Party set and layered it over her hands and cup. I didn't worry about her hands not showing because once the scene was printed I grabbed a black Copic multi-liner pen and drew them back in over top the gift. Having the box line show up across the "knuckles" didn't matter either because I knew I could color her mittens in a dark enough color that it wouldn't show. While I still had the Birthday Party set pulled up, I also threw in a few gift/shopping bags at her feet. The sentiment for this card, which is part of the Christmas Sayings digi set, was layered onto the largest gift bag, which I thought was pretty darn clever if I do say so myself, LOL!
Pumpkin Spice is my favorite season
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here, and even though the pre-orders and any extras of this Pumpkin Spice Anya set have already come and gone, I really wanted to get her inked up before I moved full time onto Christmas and winter cards. This lovely Anya with her knit cap and oversized sweater is originally seated on a pumpkin but I wanted to change things up a bit and have her seated amidst a whole bunch of pumpkins instead. To make this happen, I went to the handy dandy digital stamp category of the TGF store and found the Hello Fall digi set.
Hope Your Halloween is Wicked Fun!
Hello fellow Farmers!
Amy here and if you haven't noticed, I am still on a Halloween card kick. Since a wide variety of the Halloween images can be found in the digital stamp category of the TGF store, that's where I went to see which stamps would inspire me this time. Surprisingly, it wasn't even a Halloween digi that caught my eye this time around. Instead, it was this rather sly looking Fairy Winter that had me thinking I could transform her into a vampire fairly easily.
